It is a non-profit-making legal entity governed by private law, which is administered by a nine-member Administrative Board and operates under the supervision of the Greek Ministry of Environment and Energy.<\/p>\n<p>The main responsibilities of the Management Authority include: guarding and patrolling of the area, scientific monitoring of flora\/fauna species and habitat types, informing and raising the awareness of the public, provision of advice and cooperation with other competent authorities etc.<\/p>\n<p>The Authority\u2019s headquarters are in Ioannina, and it has under its supervision the Information Centres of Pramanta, Chouliarades, Agnanta, Vourgareli, Neraida, and Kalliroi\/Aspropotamos at Tria Potamia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Management Authority was founded in 2009 and is responsible for the protection, conservation and management of the National Park of Tzoumerka, Peristeri and Arachthos Gorge.
